In 2006, the three soaring clubs in the region, C2VM, MATS of Montreal and the ORCC of Ottawa, joined forces to promote thermal duration soaring. The 2007 series will again comprise 7 flying events of which only a competitor's 4 best scores will count for the interclub Championship. There will be champions crowned in both Expert and Novice classes.

En 2006, les trois clubs de planeur la region de l'est  ORCC-Ottawa, MATS et C2VM-Montreal, se sont reunis pour creer une serie de concours de vol thermique. La serie 2007 comprendra 7 journees de vol. Les 4 meillieurs scores compteront pour elire le champion de la serie 2007. Deux classes permettront d'elire les champions expert et novice.
